Project

Trivio is a mobile quiz app designed to help users prepare for various exams, such as citizenship tests, driver's license exams, language proficiency tests, and professional certification exams. The app offers an engaging and interactive platform for users to test their knowledge and track their progress. It features various quizzes tailored to different subjects and regions, providing a comprehensive learning experience. The app also includes a premium subscription model, enabling users to access additional content and features.

My Role and Contributions

I worked both as a Full Stack Developer and a Quality Assurance Lead for this project, collaborating with a team of developers who handled the heavy lifting of execution. Here are some of my key responsibilities and contributions:

• UI Design: Helped the client finalize the user interface for the app, ensuring it was intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly.
• Backend Integration: Worked on complex flows for integrating Firebase for user data management and authentication, ensuring seamless and secure interactions within the app.
• Premium Subscription: Developed features to support a premium subscription model, allowing users to unlock advanced content and capabilities.
• Data Security: Implemented encryption techniques to ensure the security and privacy of user data and quiz content.
• Quality Assurance Lead: Led the quality assurance efforts, including defining testing strategies, creating test plans, and coordinating with the team to execute comprehensive testing. This involved manual testing, automated testing, and ensuring that the application met high-quality standards.
• Feature Testing: Responsible for testing new features to ensure they functioned correctly and met the specified requirements. This included writing and executing test cases, reporting bugs, and verifying fixes.

Results

I was able to complete the required features in the given time, as we had estimated. The v1 of the app is ready, while I am working to deliver the v2 features after which the app will be live on the Play Store and the App Store.
